This vision will excite us, inspire us and compel us forward as we work towards achieving it each day. It is vital to connect with our vision each day because it keeps our mind focused on what is important in life. It helps us to remain motivated and energized. By looking at the images you have uploaded to the app, you can connect with your vision each day. Allow the images to fill you up with inspiration and excitement as you see what is to come in your life.
To move towards our vision each day and make sure we’re successful, we need to perform at our best and get into an empowered state. When we visualize each day, we use more of our brain’s potential in pursuit of our goals. We can shift our state, get motivated and have more clarity throughout the day. This allows us to have a positive mindset and stay focused on what’s important. And over time, visualizing consistently every day helps us to develop our inner resources like resilience, grit, adaptability and happiness.
3. Set an Intention
Your intention is your main focus for the day that will give you the biggest win for the day. This could be to bring a certain state to your day, for example, being your empowered and courageous self throughout the whole day. This could be having an event go a certain way, for example, mentally preparing to perform at your best during an interview later that day. Or it could be a specific action you need to take or task you need to get done that will move you towards your goals.
4. Take Action
Taking action is when the magic starts to happen. We can’t just visualize what we want in life and think it’s going to simply appear. We need to actually do it. We need clarity for the day to take the right actions, so plan your actions to fulfill your intention and feel free to add other actions if needed to make the day successful.
To quote Ralph Waldo Emerson and Stephen Covey: “Our character, basically, is a composite of our habits.” And: “Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.”
