Your vision board needs to include the things that inspire you most to create the life you truly desire or be able to achieve a specific goal or dream. It can be made up of your own pictures, stock images, quotes you find motivating, words and affirmations to help you focus. Firstly, when getting started, we suggest using a pre-made template. This will help you to lay out your board and get it up and running quickly. We created eight vision board templates to help you choose what’s right for you. In a matter of minutes, you can create your first vision board.
The board you create will act as a daily visual reminder of your future vision and dreams. Remind yourself of your vision daily by visiting your board as you practice visualization.
You might be looking to create a vision board for a single goal, or perhaps your entire future vision. If you have a big picture in mind, start there to kick off the design. Choose from one of the three layouts which have a focus on a single key image. Make sure to utilise this space and fill it with something that empowers you, your overall vision, a big dream or a motivating statement.
To achieve the big dream or vision, you’ll need to break it down into smaller, manageable goals. This is something we guide you through in the EnVision app when you are starting out with visualization. However, if you already know how to break down that big goal, you can immediately get started on filling in smaller ones in your vision board. We designed two vision board templates which are a good fit for this. Play around with text and color to create something that is both visually appealing and inspiring. You could try creating a row for each area of your life, a sub-goal or maybe even a roadmap to the big vision. Your vision board is unique to you, remember there are no rules, so be as creative as you like.
Finally, for those who want to mix it up, we recommend one of the three mixed vision board layouts. With plenty of space to choose to focus on a big goal or include single or multiple areas of your life, you can choose to add everything to it into one board or go minimalist with just a few select images. In conclusion, you can be as creative as you like and add as much or as little to your vision board to help you visualize your goals. Finally, make sure to check back with your board daily to help you with your visualization practice as you work towards achieving your goals and creating the life you truly desire.
